The BET Experience Africa 2015 lit up the Ticket Pro Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
The
debut lifestyle event kicked off with several fun activities including a
basketball game, sneakers expo, car drifting and musical performances. The event saw awesome performances from international acts including R&B superstar Maxwell, award winning singer Mary J Blige, Young Thug, and Raphael Saadiq. There were also performances from some of the biggest acts on the continent including Flavour Nabania, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and South Africa's AKA.
Things got hot when Flavour took off his shirt on stage. Several upcoming South African artists including Emtee, Fifi Cooper, WTF, Patty Monroe, Moonchild, Stilo Magolide also showcased their talent.
The one-day festival had comedy sessions from African comedians like Churchill, Tats Nkozo and David Kau. There was also a fashion runway show hosted by Bonang Matheba.
